Complete Cannabis Consultants will initially engage you in a Service Level Agreement 1 – this covers site inspections, your 5-year business projection spreadsheet, a bespoke design of your proposed facility as well as the license document preparation required by SAHPRA. Once your cultivation license is approved, we will engage you in a second Service Level Agreement (SLA2) under which we will start to cultivate cannabis alongside you while we train your staff to manage your facility independently.

How long does a SAHPRA cultivation license application take?
It can take between 6 and 12 weeks to complete your site inspection, business plan and the documentation required for the submission of the license application to SAHPRA.
Can I get the actual license before I build my cannabis facility?
No, you need to build your facility before you get your license.
If I have a piece of suitable, virgin land to grow cannabis on, how many months will it take from the moment I engage CCC to the day I harvest my first crop?
With no unexpected delays, your first crop should be harvested in 11-12 months from the day you engage CCC.
Does all the cannabis produced need to be exported or can I sell it locally?
According to the current regulations, all the cannabis that is produced under your SAHPRA cultivation license must be exported to a country that may legally import it.
Can you cultivate outdoors?
At this stage, your SAHPRA cultivation license will not allow you to cultivate outdoors. As you are cultivating for the medical cannabis industry the cultivation needs to take place in a controlled environment according to GMP/GACP standards.
How much electrical supply power do I require initially?
You need at least 150kVA supplied to the site to run a 900m² facility and 500kVA for a 5400m² facility.
How much water do I require daily?
You will need around 6000l per day to run a 900m² facility and 36000l per day for a 5400m² facility.
Where would I get my genetics to start my cultivation?
Complete Cannabis Consultants is partnered with one of the largest seed banks in the world in Holland. Once you receive your SAHPRA cultivation license, CCC will assist you with the legal importation of the genetics you require.
Is there a market for the dried flower?
Yes, due to the awareness that is being created around the healing properties of the cannabis plant worldwide, there is a demand for dried flower internationally.
Which area in South Africa is best for the cultivation of cannabis?
CCC can cultivate cannabis in ANY region in South Africa with the caveat that some regions will require a greater capex investment due to specific environmental conditions. CCC will assist you with this determination as part of our Service Level Agreement 1 (SLA1).

How many plants does it take to populate a 900m² green house?
A 900m² greenhouse can be populated with between 7 000-10 000 plants – this is dependent on the specified design criteria as well as the cultivation method selected for the cultivation.
How many kg’s of dried flower does a 900m² greenhouse produce a month?
This is dependent on the number and type of cannabis plants that you have planted in your greenhouse. We estimate that if you grow according to our supplied Standard Operating Procedures, you should achieve at least 40g per plant.
